A Taste of Córdoba’s Subbética Legacy
After many years of enjoying extra virgin olive oil within our family, we’ve decided to share it with all of you.
RECUERDO EVOO was born on our family land, in the very heart of the Subbética region (Doña Mencía, Córdoba). These are lands our grandparents acquired with great effort and dedication after emigrating. Today, we continue to cultivate these olive trees with the same love and respect for tradition.
We chose the name RECUERDO (meaning “memory” in Spanish) because it perfectly captures how we feel: this oil reflects our identity, our roots, our land. It is liquid memory that connects generations. And we hope that, when you taste it, it also connects with you — and your memories.
RECUERDO: More than just olive oil, a legacy
Our extra virgin olive oil is a coupage of Picual and Hojiblanca varieties, carefully handpicked at their optimal ripeness. Its fruity aroma, with hints of fresh olive leaf and freshly cut green grass, leads to a balanced, persistent, and gently peppery flavor — the unique character of our land in every drop.
